They have a continuously welded airtight housing, pillow block bearings, a polished shaft, a balanced wheel and adjustable pulleys, and the housing rotates to 8 discharge positions.
Backward curve utility sets run from 10" to 49", 300 to 63,000 CFM at up to 5" w.g. in steel. They suit kitchens, hotels and theaters with air at 300°F or less and help reduce grease build-up.
Typical uses include hood exhaust, welding fume, flammable gas, theaters, restaurants, stores, hotels, kitchens and lavatories.
Also called utility fans, centrifugal utility blowers or belt drive exhaust blowers.
